Description
Italiano: Battistero di Riva san Vitale: griglia di ghisa del coperchio del pozzo ; permette di vedere il livello dell'acqua della falda, che corrisponde al livello dell'acqua del lago. Durante vari secoli del medioevo il livello del lago era diventato mediamente più alto, a causa dell'innalzamento del fondo del fiume a Pontetresa, e l'aula del battistero veniva frequentemente allagata; era abbandonata e trascurata, usata anche come deposito o pollaio.
