Description
Deutsch: Seite 1 aus dem Ritterstandsdiplom von Franz Joseph I. (Kaiser von Österreich 1848-1916) für Oberstleutnant Wasa [Ritter von] Stoikovics (* 1808 in Kubin, Ungarn) als Ritter des Ordens der Eisernen Krone III. Klasse, welchen er (mit kaiserlichem Handschreiben vom 10. Juni 1850) für seine Leistungen bei der Verteidigung der belagerten Festung Ofen gegen Aufständische im Mai 1849 erhalten hatte. Während des Zweiten Italienischen Unabhängigkeitskrieges 1859 kommandierte Stoikovics ein Freiwilligen-Battalion in Italien. Ritterstandsdiplom ausgestellt Wien, 8. März 1871, mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift des Kaisers. Pergamentlibell (37 x 28 cm), 8 Seiten, teils goldgehöhte Kalligraphie, teilweise gedruckte Bordüre, farbige Wappendarstellung. Violetter Samteinband mit goldgeprägter Doppeladlerdarstellung, innen Seidenspiegel. Am Ritterstandsdiplom das mittels goldener Kordel anhängende kaiserliche Wachssiegel in Holzkapsel.
