Description
Deutsch: Wappen aus dem Ritterstandsdiplom von Franz Joseph I. (Kaiser von Österreich 1848-1916) für den Chirurgen und Militärmediziner Professor Dr. Franz [Ritter von] Pitha (1810-1875) nach Verleihung des Ordens der Eisernen Krone III. Klasse. Ausgestellt Wien, 20. Dezember 1859, mit eigenhändiger Unterschrift des Kaisers, Gegenzeichnung des Innenministers Graf Agenor Goluchowski. Pergamentlibell (Format ca. 38 x 29 cm) aus vier Blättern gebunden, davon Text auf 7 Seiten, teilweise gedruckte Bordüren. Der Text der Urkunde (mit einer detaillierten Beschreibung der Biographie und medizinischen Leistungen Dr. Pithas als Militärmediziner im Zweiten Italienischen Unabhängigkeitskrieg 1859) ist in schwarzer Tinte mit teils goldgehöhter Kalligraphie geschrieben. Farbige Wappendarstellung. Innenspiegel aus hellblauer Moiréseide. Hochroter Samteinband mit goldgeprägter Doppeladlerdarstellung, mit gold-silberner Kordel anhängendes kaiserliches Siegel aus rotem Wachs in runder Bronzekapsel (Durchmesser ca. 11,5 cm). Diplom und Siegel befinden sich in einer Aufbewahrungskassette aus Metall (Format ca. 54,6 x 31 cm).
