English: Portrait of Margherita de' Medici (1612-1679), widow of Odoardo Farnese (1612-1646).
Italiano: "Il dipinto fa parte di una serie di quattro ritratti donata da Pietro Stecconi, prevosto dal 1665 al 1679, tutti realizzati dal medesimo pittore, probabilmente un copista, a causa delle analogie stilistiche che presentano. Quello di Margherita de' Medici (1612/ 1679) mostra la duchessa in vestevedovile ed è la copia di una derivazione dal ritratto eseguito dal Susterman, presumibilmente nel corso del suo soggiorno parmense tra il 1649 e 1650. Il quadro di Busseto appare infatti assai simile a quello conservato presso la Galleria Nazionale di Parma, attribuito ad anonimo del XVII secolo, in cui la duchessa è raffigurata in controparte rispetto all'originaledel Susterman e mostra alcune semplificazioni nella descrizione dell'abbigliamento"
