Description
Deutsch: Großrippel, nahe oder direkt an der Nordseeinsel Wangerooge. Die Aufnahme entstand aus niedriger Flughöhe.

Beachte als Größenvergleich die Vögel auf dem trocken gefallenen Sand

Rippel mit 1 bis 2 Meter Höhe [1]und/oder 0,6 bis 30 Metern Abstand zueinander [2]bezeichnet man als Großrippel. Bei mehr als 2 Metern Höhe oder mehr als 30 Meter Länge (Abstand zueinander), spricht man von Riesenrippeln.

Beachte, wie die Rippel sich oben im Bild auch unter Wasser fortsetzen. Achte auch auf die von oben einlaufenden Wellen, die sich erst nach einiger Zeit innerhalb einer Rippel-Rinne brechen.
