Description
English: Ripening wheat fields near Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire. Wheat fields ripen in the early evening sunshine. Tramlines used by large, modern agricultural machinery are clearly visible. Photograph was taken from Armitage Hill, looking across the floodplain of the Trent Valley, towards the hamlet of Barton Turn. Large, new distribution warehouses sited to the south-east of the A38(T) can just be seen in the far distance.
