Description
Deutsch: „Der Ring“ ist ein Kunstwerk im öffentlichen Raum aus dem Jahr 1985 des Berliner Künstlers Norbert Radermacher, seit 1992 Professor an der Kunsthochschule Kassel, und Teil seines Themenrings „Stücke für Städte“. Der schwarze Bronzering ist am Geländer der Potsdamer Brücke angebracht. Die 1968 neu gebaute Balkenbrücke führt in Berlin-Tiergarten die Potsdamer Straße, Teil der Bundesstraße 1, über den Landwehrkanal.
English: Public art „Der Ring“ (The ring), created in 1985 by the artist Norbert Radermacher. It’s a part of his theme „Stücke für Städte“ (Picies for cities), installed at the Potsdamer Brücke in Berlin-Tiergarten, Germany. The bridge, new built in 1968 and a part of the Potsdamer Straße, is crossing the Landwehrkanal (canal).
