Rim sherd from a shallow bowl - reverse.
Description
English: One pottery rim sherd from a shallow bowl, Roman. The rim is everted with the edge bent back towards the wall of the bowl. It is a hard sandy ware, orange fabric with small lumps ?quartz temper evenly distributed. Possibly Oxfordshire oxidised ware AD 240-410 (Young 2000:185).
