Description
English: A rim fragment of a jar, Medieval. Unglazed, the surface is light orange in colour reduced to grey in section. Sand tempered. The rim has a flat upper surface. No visible decoration. Wheel made. The rim fragment is 7% of a jar which would have had a 200mm rim diameter. It was not possible to identify the fabric type more specifically than it being a Medieval sandy ware.
