Notes | The king was depicted with a set of crown jewels commissioned in about 1584 by Stephen Báthory in Gdańsk after Willem van den Blocke's design. Museum of Prints and Drawings (Kupferstichkabinett) in Berlin holds a preparatory drawing for the crown with van den Blocke's signature. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
