Description
English: Ohlone shellmound in Richmond, Contra Costa County, California, USA Original caption: Fig. 1.-Mound no. 283, situated at Chinese Camp, on the west side of Potrero San Pablo. The deposit lies on a clay slope 7-8 ft. higher than the beach. Present dimensions about 150X200 ft.; height 9 ft. The seaward extension of the mound may possibly lie buried in the tide flat off shore. View looking northwest.
