Deutsch: Vorderseite: RICHARDVS D G ARCHIEPVS TRE A AE 55 [AE ligiert]. Bartloses Brustbild des Richard von Greiffenklau mit Barett nach links.
Rückseite: MONETA NOVA ANNO DVI 1522. Umschrift, vierfach geteilter Wappenschild. 1. und 4 Wappen Kreuz (Trier), 2. Lilienhaspel (Greiffenklau) und 3. Schrägbalken (Ippelbrunn). Kommentar: Vergoldet und wohl ehemals gehenkelt. - Noß (1922) vermutet durch die Bezeichnung MONETA bei dieser Medaille, dass es sich um ein Modell für eine Münze handelt (siehe auch Objektnummer 18219993), die allerdings nicht zur Ausprägung gekommen ist. Die Medaillen werden dem namenlosen Meister des Greiffenklau (Meister Jakob?) zugewiesen. Literatur: G. Habich, Die deutschen Schaumünzen des XVI.
