Description
English: Richard I of England's wall painting, on Akko's Auditorium's wall. Don't know the painters name though... More information (in Hebrew) about the paintings here

For some reason, it appears that the image is based on sir Sean Connery role in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves", although that Sir Sean Connery's role lasted few minutes, and he's even uncredited in the movie itself... Check up the caption in this picture of King Richard I staue's, which says "Richard the Lion-Heart - Also Known As Sean Connery"...

עברית: ציור קיר של ריצ'ארד הראשון, מלך אנגליה, על אודיטוריום עכו. על פי שלט ההסבר "ריצ'ארד לב הארי - מלך אנגליה, הגיע במסע הצלב ה-3, כבש את עכו בשנת 1191 יחד עם פיליפ אוגוסט מלך צרפת. הפך את עכו לבירת ממלכת ירושלים". מידע נוסף על הציורים ניתן למצוא כאן הדמות בציור היא למעשה דמותו של שון קונרי, המגלם את המלך ריצ'ארד לב הארי בסרט "רובין הוד נסיך הגנבים", דמות אשר נחרתה בזיכרון למרות ששון קונרי הופיע בסרט למשך מספר דקות, ואף לא הוזכר בקרדיטים...
