(Size 320x98px, scale 10px = 1 mm) English: The Pro Patria Medal ribbon of the South African Defence Force, 32 millimetres wide with a 3 millimetres wide orange band, a 1½ millimetres wide white band, a 5 millimetres wide orange band and a 6 millimetres wide dark blue band, repeated in reverse order and separated by a 1 millimetre wide orange band in the centre.
Afrikaans: Militêre medaljelint van die Suid-Afrikaanse Weermag: Pro Patria-Medalje (1974), vir diens ter verdediging van die Republiek of ter voorkoming of onderdrukking van terrorisme. Dit is gebruik as veldtogmedalje vir die 1966-1989 Grensoorlog. 'n Agthoekige goudgeplateerde bronsmedalje wat 'n goue proteablom op 'n blou skyf uitbeeld. Die lint is oranjekleurig, met 'n wit streep naby elke rand en twee blou bane in die middel. 'n Gespe met die naam Cunene daarop is toegeken aan diegene wat in 1976-1977 in Angola diens verrig het. |
