| Description |
English: Ribblehead Viaduct Walk 22nd July 2007. Nearing the viaduct. The railway track points seen here are on the southern side of the viaduct and lead to a single line section across the viaduct itself. The line was singled here to reduce stresses on the viaduct but this causes a bottleneck on what is now a very busy line and there are proposals to reinstate the double track.
