Title
Ribble Valley, Lancs.: Ring Brooch
Description
English: Iron ring buckle or annular brooch. It has a finely ribbed front and a plain, smooth obverse. The pin (which was probably made from iron, as well) is missing but a deep groove on the ring indicates were it would have been attached to the frame. The greenish patina on the surface suggested that the object had a bronze coating once.
