Description
English: Ribbesford House and Woods. Ribbesford House just visible through the trees that line the river Severn. The house is 18th/19th century and was a Headquarters for the Free French Army headed by General Charles De Gaulle during World War II. Ribbesford Woods in the background cover a large area of this square on rising ground to the west of the river.
