Summary
[edit]DescriptionRhyl Station - geograph.org.uk - 1308632.jpg |
English: Rhyl Station A train heading down the coast departs from Rhyl towards Abergele and Colwyn Bay. Rhyl's station was provided with broad platforms to accommodate the vast holiday crowds coming to this resort, typically from the industrial towns of north west England; there are fewer holidaymakers these days, the crowds having long since decamped to the warmer attractions of the Mediterranean. Nevertheless, Rhyl is still one of the most important stops on the North Wales coast line. |
