Maman Cocbet. riarion Dingee. Is a strong grower. The flowers are large, beautiful shape, and borne in wonderful profusion all through the growing season; having thick, leathery petals which hold their form and color for a long time; it is a deep brilliant crimson, wonderful in the open ground, where it is particularly valuable. Ea. 50c., doz. $5.00. Papa Gontier. A desirable winter-flowering rose, as it can be grown in a much lower temperature than any other variety, doing best in a temperature suitable for carnations; buds are long and pointed, deep carmine in color, and exceed- ingly beautiful in form. It is a very strong, vig- orous grower, with long, strong, straight stems. Ea. 20c., doz. $2.00. Pres. Car not. A lovely color, outer petals ^hite, center delicate flesh pink. Flowers are of a large size and high quality, and are also delight- fully fragrant. It is a strong, vigorous grower and a free bloomer, producing large quantities of the finest shaped buds on long stems. One of the finest ever-blooming roses that has ever been introduced for garden cultivation. Ea. 15c., doz. $1.50. Queen. A pure white rose, elegant in shape and very large; a vigorous grower and continuous bloomer, producing a great abundance of buds and flowers all through the season. Buds finely formed ; petals thick, of good substance. Opens well and very sweet. Ea. 25c., doz. $2.50. BOBBINK & ATKINS RUTHERFORD, N. J. Queen of Edgely. (The Pink American Beauty.) Large, full flowers of delicious fragrance, beau- tiful, bright pink—much lighter than American Beauty; identical in every other respect. Strong plants. Ea. 75c., doz. $7.50. Safrano. An old favorite; saffron yellow; still one of the best of its type for outdoor planting. Ea. 15c., doz. $1.50. 5oleil d'Or. (Golden Sun.) One of the newer varieties from France. Fine large globular flowers and rich colored, medium-sized leaves. The color of the flower, deep yellow, shaded with orange and nasturtium red. Ea. 50., doz. ;5.00. Souv. de Madame Eugène Verdier. Is a very strong, free grower, throwing up stroog, erect canes. Every cane is crowned with a large, full, deep, double flower of exquisite shape and color, creamy white, shading to yellow. Beyond question this is a superb rose. Ea. 25c., doz. $2.50. Souvenir de Wootton. This is the best crimson winter-flowering rose for general cultivation, as it is much more easily grown in midwinter than Meteor, on which account it is largely grown by those who cannot succeed with Meteor. Flowers are deliciously fragrant, and much like Jacque- minot in size and color. Throws good stems, but frequently in clusters; if disbudded, size of flower is largely increased. Ea. 20c., doz. $2.00. Souvenir de Catherine Guillot. A grand rose of great excellence; richly colored and distinct from any other variety ; color coppery carmine, center shaded orange ; flowers large, full, flnely shaped and very sweet. Vigorous in growth and a free bloomer. Ea. 25c., doz. $2.50. Souvenir de Jeanne Cabaud. Outer petals coppery yellow, center apricot and carmine; very beautiful. Large, full and of splendid shape. Ea. 25c., doz. $2.50. Souvenir de J. B. Guillot. New and distinct, especially in color, which is odd and unique, varying from nasturtium red, shaded with crim- son, to bright coppery red ; a new and brilliant shade in color. Ea. 35c., doz. $4.00. Souvenir d'un Ami. A flne, delicate rose, shaded salmon. One of the best pink roses, and a good variety to force. Ea. 25c., doz. $2.50. Sunrise. In bud form it shows the high, brilliant colors seen only in the Austrian copper, scarlet and yellow. As it opens the color deepens, the scarlet turning darker red, the yellow to orange and copper, the inside of the petals golden yel- low. The open flower is large, perfectly double, and of grand form; the foliage is glossy and thick. Strong young plants. Ea. 35c., doz. f3.50. The Sweet Little Queen. This is one of the most attractive roses in our collection. It is a strong, quick grower, dwarf and sturdy, pro- ducing its flowers in continuous profusion. Flowers large and double; color bright daffodil yellow, center ocher with blush and orange shadings. Very fragrant variety. Ea. 35c., doz. $4.00. Triomphe de Pernet Père.
