Their culture is of the simplest, and, with the least regard for their requirements, will repay w-.th such an abundance and brilliancy of bloom, not equaled by any other class of plants ; they delight in a rich, well-drained soil, where they can be liberally supplied with water, prefer- ably in a position where they will be shaded from the direct rays of the sun during the hottest hours of the day, and will succeed equally well grown as pot plants for the conservatory or window garden. TLBEROLS-ROOTED BEQOMAS. . Single. Fa. 50c., doz. $5.00. FANCY-LEAVED CALADILMS. Fancy-leaved caladiums have, in recent years, grown rapidly in popular favor, not only for the decoration of the conservatory, green- house and window-boxes, but nearly all the varieties succeed admirably if planted out-of-doors in partly shaded, sheltered borders, in well-enriched light soil, while for exhibition plants during the summer and fall months nothing can equal their beauty. Alphonse Karr. Carmine center, with red spots on a green ground. Baron Rothschild. Green, spotted and veined with orange orims<:'n. Bicolor pumila. Center rosy red, green margin; a neat dwarf variety. Boildleu. Deep green, with bright crimson-rayed center. Chantinii. Green, red center spotted white.
