Description Maj. Gen. Leonard Holland, Adjutant General, Rhode Island National Guard, gives a brief during visit to Vietnam in 1968 to observe operations of the 107th Signal Company from his state. The East Greenwich R.I.-based unit was one of eight Army National Guard units deployed to Vietnam that year, which included over 2,500 Citizen-Soldiers. (U.S. Army photograph)
