| Description |
English: Rheidol Valley Looking approximately westwards, down the valley in the direction of Aberystwyth. The forest on the peak to the right is Coed Simdde-lwyd, a nature reserve. The area visible on the left is Allt Ddu, through which runs the Vale of Rheidol Railway. Active silver-lead mines were to be found on both sides of the valley in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. |
