| Description |
This 315 m long tunnel of the mountain railway Rheineck-Walzenhausen passes below the eastern edge of the protective forest in Ruderbach. The tunnel with a slope of 25% was 1896 put into operation. Something unusual for a railway tunnel is it's full lighting. Switzerland, March 24, 2015. The photo was taken after the last course departed in Rheineck at 20:35 towards Walzenhausen. So there is no light to see at the end of the tunnel, as is the case in daylight. With tripod, ISO 125, aperture 8, exposure time 20 sec, focus adjustment manual, Canon G7X. |
