Studer logo etched on a PCB (Revox B215 cassette deck, 1986)

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Studer logo etched on a PCB (Revox B215 cassette deck, 1986). Note extra thick copper traces - maybe it's just an illusion, maybe it's Swiss overengineering. The tracks on this board are indeed quite robust. Unfortunately, the tracks on the audio boards are not - but, hey, they are almost 40 years old. This was the pinnacle of Studer's home audio line. Just a few years later Studer became a Harman subsidiary, and the Revox brand soon disappeared. But so far, in 1985 and 1986, the company was strong, and the Revox division was at its best.
