BOY SCOUTS OF PORTO RICO the attention of the famous English gentle-man, Baden-Powell, in 1908. His experiencewith boys as messengers during the Boer Warhad so impressed him with their ability to dothings,that he cribbed the Scout idea, as hehimself declares, and determined to devote therest of his life to developing it in England.
