Description
The Mogens Koch was built by Svendborg Skibsværft & Maskinbyggeri A/S (Yard no. 22) and delivered in October 1919. She was a four masted schooner with a diesel engine. Her first owners were a partnership of Rønne, led by L. C. Hintze. In June 1921 she was sold to Bornholms Motor- og Sejlskibsrederi A/S of Rønne. She was lost during a storm in the Channel in December 1929, the crew being saved. Source: jmarcussen.dk (in Danish). The "T. M. Jensen" referred to at the auction would be J. M. Jensen, who was her master in the first years of her service.
