Transcripción de la ficha:

"Águeda de Uribe Valcárcel, bisnieta del conde de Santiago de Calimaya y nieta del conde Valcárcel- eran comisionados por las familias para retener la memoria de las hijas que dejaban el siglo para hacer los votos perpetuos de la vida conventual. Durante la ceremonia de profesión, como esposas de Cristo, tomaban el velo negro y se engalanaban con una corona metálica cubierta de flores, símbolo de victoria y honor que sólo volverían a usar en momentos muy importantes o al ser retratadas como modelos de virtud tras su fallecimiento. El ajuar también solía incluir manto, medallón de pecho o escudo, imágenes devocionales, palma, anillo, perlas y joyas, vela encendida y labores de bordado, cuyo conjunto daba cuenta del estatus de la familia y del propio convento."
