Description
English: Lt. Gen. (Ret.) James King, former director of the National Imagery and Mapping Agency and now president and chief executive officer of Athena Innovative Solutions, discusses the joint security station concept with Col. Jeffrey L. Bannister, commander of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at the Al Madain JSS in the Zafarniyah neighborhood of eastern Baghdad July 13. Earlier in the day, King and his group received an operations brief at Forward Operating Base Loyalty, visiting the Colorado Springs, Colo.,-based unit. King, along with an entourage from the Center of Strategic and International Studies are in Iraq to assess the readiness of the Iraqi security forces.
