Description
English: Lt. Gen. (Ret.) James King, former director of the National Imagery and Mapping Agency and now president and chief executive officer of Athena Innovative Solutions, discusses readiness issues with Col. Jeffrey L. Bannister, commander of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Forward Operating Base Loyalty in eastern Baghdad July 13. King visited the Colorado Springs, Colo.,-based brigade along with an entourage from the Center of Strategic and International Studies to assess the readiness of the Iraqi security forces. After receiving an operations brief, the group toured the Al Madain Joint Security Station in eastern Baghdad.
