Deutsch: Der Residenzbrunnen steht in Salzburg, Österreich er ist der größte Barockbrunnen Mitteleuropas.
Ich habe dieses Foto gemacht weil es atemberaubend aussah. Der Residenzbrunnen ist ein monumentaler Brunnen, der größte Barockbrunnen Mitteleuropas, der zwischen 1656 und 1661 im Auftrag von Erzbischof Guidobald von Thun wohl von Tommaso di Garona gestaltet wurde. Das untere Brunnenbecken auf allseitigen stufenartigen Sockeln ist vierseitig symmetrisch und besitzt eine ausgebogene und geknickte barocke Formgebung. Ein mittiger Felsen darauf ist von vier wasserspeienden Meerrossen umgeben. Der Felsen trägt vier nackte athletische Männer mit einer weiteren flachen Wasserschale, in denen drei Delphine wiederum ein flaches Wasserbecken halten. Dieses oberste Becken trägt Triton, der aus einer Tritonschnecke Wasser senkrecht in die Luft stößt.English: The Residence Fountain is in Salzburg, Austria it is the largest Baroque fountain in Central Europe.
