Português: Observe-se na parte baixa da vila o antigo Mangal. O local foi aterrado para dar lugar a atual avenida República e o Parque Moscoso. Observe-se a igreja de São Gonçalo e os fundos do Palácio do Governo (atual Palácio Anchieta). À direita, a rua do Comércio e o porto dos Padres. Deutsch: Im unteren Teil des Dorfes ist das alte Mangal ersichtlich. Der Platz wurde zugeschüttet, um der Avenida República und dem Moscoso-Park Platz zu machen. Erkennbar sind auch die Kirche São Gonçalo und die Rückseite des Regierungspalastes (heute Anchieta-Palast). Auf der rechten Seite die Comércio-Straße und der Hafen dos padres. English: The old Mangal is visible in the lower part of the village. The square was filled in to make way for Avenida República and Moscoso Park. Note the São Gonçalo church and the back of the Government Palace (now Anchieta Palace). On the right, the Rua do Comércio and the Padres' harbor. Français : Dans la partie inférieure du village, on peut voir l'ancien Mangal. La place a été comblée pour faire place à l'avenue República et au parc Moscoso.
