Description Barragem do Descoberto, Brasília, DF, Brasil 20/1/2017 Foto: Andre Borges/Agência Brasília. Localizada às margens do Lago Descoberto, a Reserva Biológica do Descoberto tem função estratégica para a proteção dos cursos d’água que abastecem a região. A unidade tem 434,5 hectares, distribuídos em uma faixa de 125 metros ao redor do reservatório. A área protegida foi estabelecida por meio do Decreto 26.007, de 5 de julho de 2005.
