English: Materials and Equipment Requirements for KOH Preparation

Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) Pellets or Flakes: KOH is available in solid form and should be of high purity. Distilled Water: Used for dilution and preparation of the solution. Glass Stirring Rod: For mixing the KOH and water. Graduated Cylinder or Measuring Cylinder: To measure the required amount of water.

Safety Equipment: Lab coat, gloves, safety goggles, and a well-ventilated workspace to ensure safety while handling the caustic KOH.
