Coleman has been personally meeting theexpenses of missionary work conducted among these people at hisplantation by the Rev. and Mrs. John L. Jarrett, assuming their salaryand other expenses. The Board heartily approved the acceptance of Mr. Colemans offerand has constituted this work a regular station of the ColombiaMission, to be known as Cerete Station. In addition to Mr. andMrs. Jarrett, another family will be appointed as soon as practicable. Not a tongue wags against it. Allclasses and conditions of men cry grace unto it. VENEZUELA MISSION Caracas: capital of Venezuela; situated at an elevation of 3,500feet above the sea level; about 10 degrees north latitude; 23 miles byrail from the sea; climate like late spring; population 75,000; occupiedtentatively 1897.
