heory is strengthened by this addition tothe list of observations on crustal movements. Incidentally, 212 Report of the Brown-Harvard Expedition. barometric readings gave the elevations of a large numberof raised beaches, sea-caves, etc., all exposed on the bareslopes with marvelous distinctness. Some 300 observations of surface and subsurface tem-peratures of the coastal waters were made, and in many casesthe densities were taken as well. These observations havenot, as yet, been subjected to the necessary corrections norhas their significance been wholly determined. A detailed account of my summers results on thegeology and physical geography of Labrador will shortlyappear in a Bulletin of the Museum of Comparative Zoology,Harvard University.
