Description
Nederlands: Ter gelegenheid van Brugge, culturele hoofdstad van Europa, werd in 2002 door de leerlingen van de houtafdeling van het Vrij Technisch Instituut Brugge een replica van een middeleeuwse havenkraan uit de dertiende eeuw gebouwd. Het is een verkleind model. De replica werd op het Jan van Eyckplein geplaatst, tussen het standbeeld van van Eyck en de Spiegelrei. In 2009 kreeg de kraan een nieuwe plaats op het Sasplein. In 2016 werd de kraan opnieuw gerestaureerd - Sasplein - Brugge - West-Vlaanderen - België.
