English: Replica Civil War cannon prominent in the middle of image lightly-dusted with snow pointing away from photographer. The cannon is situated in a grassy field with agricultural fields in the background. This replica cannon marks the approximate location of Confederate artillery during the Battle of Monocacy. Under the command of Captain Thomas J. Kirkpatrick, the Amherst Light Artillery took position to east of the Georgetown Pike (Route 355). This photo is used in the NPS app and on https://www.nps.gov/places/000/east-best-farm-confederate-cannon.htm.
