Summary
[edit]DescriptionRenewing the Tillysburn bridge - 2001 (geograph 3749849).jpg |
English: Renewing the Tillysburn bridge - 2001 During 2001, the important road bridge and roundabout at Tillysburn on the A2/Sydenham By-Pass was the subject of a major renewal programme, which was completed ahead of time and below budget. While kept to a minimum, this work involved disruption both to road traffic and the Belfast - Bangor railway line. One of Northern Ireland Railways' 80-class sets passes the bridge work with the 12.30 passenger service from Bangor to Lisburn. |
