Summary
[edit]DescriptionRemoval of the Stockton Power House Tower Assembly (8616427943).jpg | On March 29, 2013, a major milestone was completed at Stockton Power house. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel and construction workers from Voith removed the tower assembly which included the runner and the head covers. The assembly weighed approximately 320 tons. The lift was executed safely, and work continues to disassemble the old runner. The runner will be put on display on top of the hill. The new runner is scheduled to be placed back into the power house late 2013. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Amy Phillips. |
