Summary
[edit]DescriptionRemote ruined farm - geograph.org.uk - 306900.jpg |
English: Remote ruined farm This ruin appears on the 1:25000 map as a site of antiquity named 'Farmstead'. Its remote location, harsh climate and difficult ground must have made life hard here when it was inhabited but the sheltered location directly next to a rushing tributary of the upper River Neath may have compensated occasionally. Fan Nedd is the mountain on the right, shrouded in hill fog. The plantation on the left is reached via the track that appears in the Geograph for the next grid square to the south. |
