Description
English: The site was excavated in 1985-1988. The Acharnean Street was laid out in ca. 480 B.C., remodeled in the 4th century B.C. and was in use until the second half of the 3rd century A.D. when the Herulians invaded and devastated Athens. From that point on until the 4th century, A.D. pottery workshops operate in the area. The cemetery in the area was in use from the 9th century B.C. until the invasion of the Herulians.
