| Description |
English: Remains of quarry's washing plant. This portion of wall is the same one that is shown, from the other side, at 1449395; for further information, see 1449369.
It lies at the top of a slope, on the western side of the cycle route. It is not very well-exposed to view at any time of the year, but is best seen in winter. A little further down the slope is a small brick enclosure, which is probably another part of the washing plant, and which therefore dates from the same period. |
