Summary
[edit]DescriptionRemains of old jetty at Port-nan-long - geograph.org.uk - 1035387.jpg |
English: Remains of old jetty at Port-nan-long. Many years before the causeway to Berneray was built, this old jetty was used to ferry people and animals across to the island. More recently, until the causeway was opened by Prince Charles in 1999, the Newton Jetty 176967 served this purpose. The sandbank beyond the jetty is Oitir Mhòr. |
