English: Remains of lime-kilns. For the main description of these remains, see 1410024.
The present photo is intended to show the whole area, but without the dense bracken cover that hampered previous visits. This roughly-rectangular area, set into the slope, can now be seen much more clearly; where it is open, on the northern (the downhill) side, the stones of some ruined structures can be seen at each end of the opening. |
