This fort has been the ancestral residence of the emperor of the Suri dynasty. It is the only Fort of Pathan architecture in the country. here Sher Shah Suri as well as his son Salim Shah, who sat on the throne of Delhi, also had a childhood. It was built in 1498 by Hasan Shah Suri , Father of Sher Shah Suri. |
