English: Remains of a sheep ree. See 1768538 for the main description.
This is a view along the long axis of the structure, which is oriented east-west. The nearer of the shorter walls of the ree is not very distinct, but it runs horizontally in this image, and is located about midway between the lower edge and the centre of the photo. The two long walls of the ree can be seen receding into the distance; the southern wall (the one on the right) is much more obvious, although in shade, since many stones are visible along its course. The other walls are visible only as low ridges. |
