| Description |
English: Remains of Dymock station There isn't much left of what was once a typically picturesque Great Western country station: just the former goods shed (now in use as Western Way Chapel and practically unrecognisable) and the platform edging pictured here. The line was opened (mostly using the course of the defunct Gloucester - Hereford canal) in 1885 and closed to passengers in 1959, with the Dymock - Gloucester section being retained for freight traffic until 1964. |
