English: The Relyenong Bangus is a signature dish in the Philippines. It is a milkfish stuffed with milkfish meat, chopped onions, grated carrots, green peas, raisins,bell peppers, tomatoes, and garlic, and seasoned with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Flour and egg are added to the Relyenong Bangus Recipe to bind the stuffing together. It is then fried and served hot with rice or paella, and sometimes a special sauce is used to keep it moist, such as a sweetened tomato sauce. It is also served whole, allowing customers to dig in and cut the portion they desire. |
