Description
English: Reliquary almond-shaped of the treasure of the collégiale de Saint-Martin de Brive (Corrèze, France). Upper part : Valerie of Limoges shows her cutted head to the bishop Saint-Martial. Lower part : Francis of Assisi showing his stigmats to Clare of Assisi. Gilded copper. 2nd half of 12th century.
Français : Reliquaire en forme d'amande du trésor de la collégiale de Saint-Martin de Brive (Corrèze). Partie supérieure : Sainte-Valérie présente sa tête coupée à l'évêque Saint-Martial. Partie inférieure : Saint-François d'Assise montre ses stigmates à Sainte-Claire. Cuivre doré. 2e moitié du XIIe siècle.
