Set A of the specimens were tested in the condition inwhich they were received from the manufacturers. Set B was subjected to a normalizirg heat of about950 degrees C. for about three hours, i. e., a temperaturewhic?i will remove fnaj h:rdness due to the last rolling.The bars were allowed to cool in the air. Set C was subjected to a heat of about 835 degrees C,which was not kept constant for any particular length oftime but the temperature was slowly decreased until belowthe hardening temperature (about 675 degrees C).
